The Uruguayan company Dronfies developed a system for delivering goods with drones in confined spaces at the request of the National Industry Service (SENAI) of Brazil, which will be presented at the Knowledge Olympiad.

This event, which has been held biannually for more than 20 years and is the largest competition among students of professional and technological education on the continent, will take place in Brasília from July 3 to 8.
The system developed by Dronfies will be used by a “mini smart city” built within the facilities where the educational competition is to take place.

A drone will take a garment directly from the warehouse of the factory where it was produced to the buyer who requested it, in a process that seeks to simulate how the industry of the future can be more efficient in environmental and economic terms with the use of new technologies such as drones.

The exhibition will allow the introduction of a sector of special development in recent years in Uruguay, and it is expected to be an experience with great potential in the generation of binational value chains, with intensive use of technology and innovation.
