Project linking health emergencies with the use of drones takes two Uruguayan engineers to Sierra Leone

The Uruguayan company Dronfies Labs is going to travel to Sierra Leone (Africa) to develop a project that links drones with humanitarian emergencies jointly with UNICEF. How is this link?

Drones are usually seen as small unmanned aircrafts that serve as an instrument to film videos from the air cheaply.

But this tool is far from being tied only to that.

Precisely, two Uruguayan engineers are going to travel to Sierra Leone, in Africa, to work on a joint project with UNICEF, in which drones would be used in humanitarian emergencies.

How is this project? To learn about it, we got in touch with Sebastián Macías, one of the above-mentioned engineers, founder and director of Dronfies Labs.
